Basundi is sweet thickened milk, flavored with cardamom, saffron with the addition of dry fruits like almonds, pistachios, etc.
- 500 ml Milk
- Two teaspoons sugar-free Gold
- 1/4 teaspoon Cardamom crushed powder
- Chopped Almonds/pistachios
- 3-5 Saffron threads
Put the milk to boil in a large deep pan, When it starts boiling, reduce heat and boil till the milk is 2/3 in volume.
Now add all other ingredients to boiling milk one by one
Boil for another 10 minutes.
Now allow it to cool completely in room temperature and chill in the refrigerator for 4-5 hours.
Garnish it with chopped nuts or rose petals and serve it.
